A few years back on a trip to Washington DC, Mark and his girl friend entered a bourbon centric bar. While there, they saw a bottle of Laws Whiskey, a Colorado craft distillery. The gentleman working behind the bar said he had not tried it, assuming it to be “sourced crap,” as anything west of the Mississippi River was not good at all.
