Consider the nuance in the language of consumption. Over the years, we have used one word or another to describe the level of inebriation in which we may currently find ourselves. And while there is no steadfast dictionary for this language, we all can understand where we might be coming from, whether it is “wasted,” “buzzed,” or “hammered.” As drinkers, we have likely used any or all of these terms to define our level of inebriation.
